One of my absolute favorite subjects, this cypress is at the gorgeous Leo Carillo Beach in Malibu, CA, where one can find 100 paintings, all one has to do is turn around and there is another picturesque scene. I loved the rocks in the foreground leading up to the mighty cypress standing dark against the sky. The lovely blue-greys and soft greens and lavenders in the scene made it an irresistable subject for me.
