This is the third time I have painted this violinist and each time it's a joy. I love her coloring and features and the play of light on her hands, face and instrument!
The painting was chosen as a top 15% jury favorite in the August 2013 Bold Brush Art Competition. It was also juried into the "Lift Our Spirits" Juried Exhibition by Mahattan Arts International as well as the Membership Juried Show at the Blackboard Gallery in Camarillo, CA.

Most recently, it was juried into the 24th International Association of Pastel Societies' Juried Exhibition at the prestigious Vose Galleries in Boston, May-June 2014, where I'm happy to learn it SOLD!
